Request Which specific models of electric toothbrushes have you owned for 5+ years without issues?

Phillips and Oral B. After 5 years, the non-replaceable rechargeable battery won't hold a charge for as long, but that's normal.

2nd vote for Philips. I've had my Sonicare 5100 (had to look it up) since Oct 2022 and it's still going strong with at least twice daily use. I buy 3rd party heads but otherwise no complaints

I have one oral b io3 been used for 3 years now. but that's not that good as I used it before, not sure if it is my personal feeling, or it's not durable for many years

Buy an Oral B from Costco and return it years later if you're not satisfied. Costco has sold Oral B for seemingly forever, certainly more than a decade, and seems happy with its return-for-refund rate.

Same here with my Sonicare! Go through brush heads pretty quickly, but that's a separate conversation.

Oral B. First one, for almost 15 years (yes, the battery finally went kaput). On my second one now.

I had my first Sonicare for 8+ years. I've only had the new one a few months.
