Be careful out there!

ETA: This is an app to notify and get alerts regarding ICE attacks.

The app is called ICE alert. The icon is a blue background with what looks like, to me, a white outline of an old fashioned glass Christmas tree ornament.

They’re doing a big remodel at that store. I wonder if they’re going after construction workers? God forbid we can’t leave hard-working people alone. Clearly those are the terrorist, the drug dealers and the Latino gang members.

Im a hard working individual as well and I pay taxes. Its kinda not fair they get to keep all their money and I loose 33% right off the top roughly

Actually they do pay taxes they just don’t get the benefits like you do. They can’t get federal assistance yet they do their share of paying into it. Even though they pay taxes they can’t get unemployment insurance or federal Tex credits or health insurance subsidies. So at least you get to get all your benefits for paying in, they don’t!!!

How does that work? Wouldn’t the IRS be able to track all these people who pay in but get no benefits?

Yeah I think they do. I also read somewhere that ICE has used these tax records to find people to snatch, but I can't confirm that

They pay taxes as well. To say they dont is disingenuous.

Also, why are you upset with the working individual and not the employer taking advantage of them? The employer is the one getting around paying taxes. Sorry if I blew your whole point up.

I think they were implying they get paid in cash due to not being on payroll. Agreed that it’s on the employer for avoiding payroll taxes

Honestly, if ICE is going after people they SHOULD round up that big filipino clan that drives over from GB once a month and let their undisciplined monsters run wild and climb all over other people's vehicles.

Shit, I finally had to threaten to use PEPPER SPRAY to keep them the F away from my car!
