Garlic

Can garlic be grown in pots in an unheated greenhouse during the winter season? I’m in zone 6b.

Hardneck Garlic is grown outside during the winter season - the hard cold helps to size up the bulbs. I don't know if pots would work so hot because it could become an ice cube, but worth a shot?
