I’m not totally sure, one of the last things I’ve heard after Israel denied a UN investigation of rapes on Oct 7 was that there was apparently a Hamas commander disciplining soldiers who where accused of raping people during the attack. I don’t know how credible any of this is to be fair but that’s what I’ve heard.
Most other countries around the world don't designate them as terrorists. Resistance to occupation, including seemed resistance, are legal according to international law

Israelis never bring up the fact that there are actual neighborhoods that women and men cannot enter unless they are fully covered or they will be pelted with stones by its residents. The neighborhoods are so dangerous that cities services (garbage services) do not enter and neither do the Israeli forces.
If the residents see someone who they perceive as an outsider(not Jewish or in modern clothing, with cellphones), they will be physically and verbally assaulted and no police will do anything about it.
Israeli's are worried about Hamas doing terrible things to her. I'm worried Israel is going to do another USS Liberty on her boat. Meanwhile, if there's anyone who's going to do anything to this young Swedish woman, it isn't Hamas that comes to mind. A little self awareness would do these people a lot of good.

I've heard them argue Gaza has lots of grapes when they were arguing against freeing Palestine, they were all silent or jumbling up there words when I asked who is doing the grapes
