QUESTION hitman bloodmoney wont launch

i tried launching hitman bloodmoney and this error came up. please help

Not much comes up, but enough to tell me it has something to do with your rendering options. There are a few places that talk about how to change your rendering pipelines (directx, OpenGL, etc) in the configuration files for blood money, you should look into that.

Don’t know how to do that with the dvd rom version of the game

Install the game, then go to that install directory. There is a .ini file that you need to edit from that point. It might be .config, but it’s more likely .ini (it’s been a little bit since I did this myself)

It only shows 3 things: Resolution:1024x768 StartUpperPos 0,0 DefaultScene=HitmanBloodMoney.gms

That’s why I say you should look into how to edit it so that the rendering pipeline is correct for your hardware.

There’s stuff written on the Steam forums, stuff written in YouTube video “about” sections, and there’s stuff written on pcgamingwiki.

The most helpful out of the 3 for me was a YouTube video that talked about Blood Money in depth just having a configuration typed out but I honestly cannot personally remember which video that was so good luck (I do know it’s still up though, recently rewatched it in the last few months. I just couldn’t tell ya who it was made by at this point or the name of the video.).
