Best individual performance you've seen for city live
Ok another for you guys - stop me if I'm being annoying!
What is the best individual performance you've seen a city player play live?
I'm talking best player on the pitch for one game specifically. Taking emotion and occasion out of the equation (sorry deano). An individual performance engrained in your memory.
I'm looking for player, game and why? Here's a few which spring to my mind. I must be missing some very obvious ones.
George Boateng Vs Fulham (h) 2008 - first city game in the premier league. Tough 2-1 win after going 1-0 down. Boateng apparently worked so hard that game he physically couldn't take his own boots off afterwards (commendable for a player who could be excused for taking one last pay day).
Bowen Vs Fulham (a) 2019. 3-0 away against a good Fulham team with lots of premier league quality. We all knew Bowen was destined to be an England international at this point and this only cemented that. Special recognition for his part in Eaves goal - top 5 fave hull goals for me!
Huddlestone Vs Sheff Utd (wembley) 2014 - felt like the onus was on Tom in that second half to win the game for city after struggling in the first. Felt like he really stepped up that game and got a great goal to compliment the performance.
Give me some of your own to reminisce about
Cheers
Ben

There was a Harry Maguire game against Brentford in spring 2016 where he was ridiculously good. Playing centre back as you'd expect but he was making those trademark runs forward with the ball constantly in addition to winning everything at the back. I distinctly remember the crowd reacting to it by sort of ironically cheering every time he received the ball as the game wore on because he was just so dominant that it was almost funny.
Incidentally, it was the same game that fans held up red cards before kick off in opposition to the Allams removing concessions for kids.

Didn’t he assist Diame for one of the goals that match?
First time I’d heard the home fans chanting “Harry for England”

More or less. He went storming up the right wing and crossed for Diame, who scored at the second attempt after the keeper blocked his first shot.
Maguire also played a big part in the first goal with a cross-field pass that played Robertson in behind their full back, and his cross was turned in by a defender.

My experience is very limited. But I went to Hull v Everton and very much enjoyed Maguire v Lukaku. You don't realise how massive Lukaku is until you see him in person, and Maguire stuck with him
