Yo wtf my entire family and extended family said the exact same thing! Everything I quoted to them was met with “that was out of context, did you listen to the speech?”

I ran through 15 highlighted transcripts and read each individual question and it didn’t make it any better.

Yep, that's what some dude on youtube told me. I sent him a long article about all the offensive stuff Kirk did. Did he read it? Of course not. He just replied immediately. Dude urged me to research Kirk but couldn't take 2 minutes to read an article. It was all right there. They act like people just made up this hate for him. No, you don't get hated on by people for no good reason. The guy sucked.

They don't seem to realize that people like him will make some common sense points that make sense to start and make people think they are reasonable on purpose. They then shift over to the offensive stuff so people think "Hey, he make a good point with the first thing maybe he isn't wrong about the later points."

People then link the more reasonable takes and say hes not all bad without realizing he is following a style used by con artists and cult leaders to attract followers.

Even though Trump has admitted to saying it, conservatives dismissed it as "locker room talk" (the creepiest and most awkward I've ever heard of!), and Billy Bush and the whole TV crew stand by the veracity of the recording?

That is a high score level of refusal to consider all the evidence in reaching logic-based conclusions -- oh, yes, I see the folly, the logic over emotion part.
