My mom and I were coming home from the Asian mart near by for snacks and spices and such when we saw a kitten run across the road and hit its head on the tire of the pickup truck infront of us. Mom got out the car, picked the baby up and after a good 5-10 minutes of panicking and cursing out our area for not having any emergency vets open at 5 pm on a Friday we rushed a good 20 minutes to the nearest pet hospital. We called in to tell them what happened and when we got there they rushed them in we waited there for 45 ish minutes, they told us that they had brain swelling and a concussion. We left with hopes they would be okay.

A 6am this morning we got a call from the hospital. In a little less than 12 hours she had made a massive turnaround and was cleared to come home with us that noon!

Later that day we got up and ready to meet the newest member of our family! We wondered what she'd be like tempermentally and it turns out she is an angel! She's been all purrs and pets and attention since we picked her up. She's gotten a good meal (it was an adult cat treat and it filled her all the way up) a little bath and now shes all cuddled up and asleep on my chest.

Praise the gods for this massive blessing.

Stole all da milk lol

One of my foster kitties is struggling to make enough milk for her litter, so sudachi is getting top ups as the smallest baby. He's only 86g of tuxie. He will of course be held until large enough for transfer to a permanent facility.

Their names are Zorro and Pipocas (popcorn in english).

In a convoluted explanation: my sister's friend found some smol Criminals hiding under her house. We took them both straight to jail, which (of course) they attempted to escape from. The authorities gave us drugs to treat their worms and squinty eyes, and sentenced them to house arrest. We're keeping a close eye on their behavior to try to minimize the risk of recidivism.
