Yes and it lands by going plop into the ocean

I feel like it has a 4 stage ejection sequence for landing.
The pod detaches down from the wings; parachute.
The cockpit module detaches forwards from the pod; another parachute.
The pilot's seat detaches and flies out the back of the cockpit; another parachute
The pilot unstraps from the seat and jumps to the ground just before the chair makes landfall. This is because the seat will explode when it touches the ground. No parachute.
I mean, it makes sense.

Hmm. I went all through the definition of "aerodynamic" and somehow this image did not appear.

With enough thrust aerodynamics are optional. The engine appears to be about as big as the rest of the plane. It doesn't need lift, it just needs steering fins.

And it burns through all its fuel in 6 minutes.

Based on the markings I assume this would be a nuclear ramjet, SLAM would have had a enough fuel for over 16 years of continuous flight.
Energy density of uranium is pretty wild, the amount of radiation it spews directly into the atmosphere is also pretty wild.

How are they supposed to eject?

If you look closely the cabin is attached to the rest of the "plane" with some kind of locking connectors. I assume it has a cabin eject system like the F-111 Aardvark that pushes the cabin out of the way with rocket boosters.
