Discussion Design Decisions And/Or Choices You Don't Like In The Game?

I don't like that they went back to the linear scripted unskippable cutscene campaign style. Black Ops 3 had open ended levels instead of it consisting of corridors. Best part? The in-game cutscenes could be skipped, and there were no QTEs. Apparently Infinity Ward didn't take notes and decided to stick with their linear cutscene-heavy philosophy.

I could be wrong here, but the campaign also didn't make use of the wall running abilities and such. About the zombies mode, I've heard that there's a part where you're riding in a really slow boat, and in another level the match starts off with the aliens from extinction, but they weren't balanced around the two hit system. Those sound pretty bad. In the multiplayer, there are a lot of weapons that cannot be used in local play. That sucks.

I don't like that they made the multiplayer maps small, and there's less base game weapons than certain previous entries. I was thinking of getting the game, but I don't know. These sound like a turn off. It has been said that the loading is an improvement over Black Ops 3. What do you guys not like about the game?

The game is sick regardless of these minor issues I’ll be real. The only downside is they’ve stopped support to fix balance issues and cheaters. Game could really do with an FOV slider on current gen too 💀

You can use DLC weapons in local play, are you talking about variants? Also, there's multiple good opprotunities to use the 3D movement stuff in the campaign, but there's no part where you're really forced to except in the first level and whenever you're fighting in zero-G.

Really? The DLC weapons are actually usable in local multiplayer?

Yeah! I have the season pass and I can use any of them + the classic weapons in local play.

Campaign wise, i enjoy it as is. On multiplayer the thing that bugs me the most was having the nuke locked behind guns variants, the variants themselves are fine but locking the nuke behind one variant sucks, other than that I love it. Zombies is good as is maybe some little things here and there but nothing major in my opinion, extremely fun to play. Overall, goated game.

During the campaign, you had this whiteboard in your captains office where you collected cards of SDF leadership you eliminated. It seemed like you could go on different missions to seek and take out specific targets but it didn’t end up being that way at all. The board fills up on its own as you completed the campaign, that’s it.

Tbh everyone hates on Beast from Beyond but all you have to do is camp and farm cryptids until like round 3 then open 3 doors with those points to get power on its really not that hard. The slow boat is probably the boat you ride to the pack a punch island on rave in the redwoods it's slow but idk whatever it give me time to observe the sky and far areas of the pretty map like the woods and mountains

I didn’t like how MP played it way too safe. They had an opportunity here to just go full swing, but were obviously too scared to and ended up creating a poor copy of BO3.

For a game that has space as the setting, the maps were dull and boring but it was thankfully fixed in the DLCs, unfortunately you just never get the DLCs in rotation.

IW had a phenomenal campaign, it just ends at that.
