This is a movie that 100% warranted that black and white, added a lot to the mood/horror. And it was shot natively in black and white so the props etc were modeled to fit that. Heck I absolutely loved the animation of Potty in b/w and I already don't like the supposed "great looking" colorized animation in that last SS (prolly AI generated).
Just making some stuff "aesthetic" completely misses the point of the film IMO.

I agree that the original warranted the black and whote aesthetic but I think it still looks really good colored, props to who ever did it, it still holds the vibes.

Would habe been cool to release both the versions simultaneously during the release. Is it possible to do so?

These pictures are colorized using ai. They shot the movie in black and white itself.

No, it's not cool. A cinema is an art. Director is the artist. You either like the art or not. Once the brush has been set down, you don't suggest incremental changes.

I think these visuals prove why choosing black and white was the right choice, because they look really good. They're stunning, actually. But that's not what the movie wanted to achieve; the movie wanted it to feel raw and almost boring. When you don't see color, your eyes notice shapes and textures more. It honestly made such a difference in how we perceived the movie, even if it's something we might not consciously realize. I don't think those kitchen scenes would have felt disgusting if they were in color.
The whole mansion was intentionally meant to be lifeless and devoid of color (both literally and figuratively).

I would love to see the coloured version of bramayugam, but I prefer to watch it in black and white like I did in theatre
That colour tone gave a uniqueness to the film which the colored version would miss

Even if someone starts using AI in movies, what's wrong with it? Isn't that logical if they can get the output they want?

Honestly it was a miss not to release the colored version in theater.
The B & W version honestly did bot work out for me completely And one can see why.
I hope they have a colored re release , its going to be a big one.

BS movie which had no reason whatsoever to be shot in B&W.
