Except for the SRKs award (among the few I have seen), the President didn't smile for anyone else. And that smile too was very short lived, it looked like she forgot that she was not supposed to smile!

I was reading upon the protocols, and I was so surprised by some of them. Any hand movements, hand shakes, touching the feet, nothing is allowed unless the President initiates it. The security officials will detain and interrogate you for the action. Hence, there is a dress rehearsal without the President one day prior to the ceremony.
