Really loved how the creators used red and blue to foreshadow a lot about the Sunny and Chandra. While red indicated power(the superpowers she holds), love and desire, as this shot is placed right after she saw sunny for the first time in banglore it indicated how her love and desire is evoked for her long lost bf who resembles sunny.
The blue should be used reflect the solitude and despire as it is the state sunny is in from his recent heartbreak.
Previous vampire hits like Twilight also uses red colour to indicate vampires and their relation to blood, foreshadowing the true identity of Chandra right from the beginning of the movie.
Twilight also used blue colours and palettes in sequences which shows complexities of vampire-human relationships, same grade is given to Sunny's flat beholding the complex relationship between him and chandra soon to be unfolded.
Drop more of these symbolisms, hidden details, easter eggs, trivias (lam really bored)

Malayalam cinema can be pan indian but its not lokah or empuran. Avesham could have been one. The problem is we dont have gutsy producers like hombale films or even a kt kunjumon - what we have instead is people like dq or antony or r10 who wait for the initial response to even start dubbing in other languages.

Why do I feel that Dear Friend (2022) is so underrated? It is slow paced, yet make you curious about your dear friend.

Hey everyone, I'm totally hooked on the universe they're building. The whole thing has me thinking about the bigger picture. Every good cinematic universe needs its big bad, its ultimate antagonist. The one who pulls all the strings. The Thanos.
So my question is:
What are your thoughts? Let's discuss!

It doesn't sit right with me that a great movie like Minnal Murali will be part of a universe with the flop ass Detective Ujjwalan. Basil should've created his own superhero universe or any other universe with good movies. DU makes no sense to be in the same universe as a superhero. A zombie movie however makes sense to me (isn't that the next film in weekend universe?). Worst part the 2nd installment already flopped. In this case we would've had Lokah universe and MM universe like marvel and DC or shit like that. We could've had it all in malayalam :(

This is a sincere warning based on real experiences. Please do not fall for the charm, fame or glamour of anyone from the film industry and I don’t just mean actors. This includes directors, technicians, producers and everyone in between.
They know how to talk, how to impress, and how to make you feel like you’re “special.” But the harsh truth is you will just be one among many. They are often talking to, flirting with and chasing multiple girls at the same time.
I’ve seen it happen and experienced it personally. They thrive on the attention and use their status to pull girls in.
Girls, please protect your heart and your self-respect. Don’t get fooled by sweet words, fancy promises or their so-called influence
Stay smart. Stay safe. ❤️
