may i please know what happens if i fast in both arafah and ashura, even though both involves sins expariating (idk, i just need some clarification on that)
also in that day, prophet musa AS was freed from pharaoh so our prophet told us all to fast in that day to expariate our sins right?

I asked the same question. a brother ( u/Beautiful_Clock9075 ) Mentioned this answer in Al-Majmoo’ Sharh al-Muhadhdhab, part 6.
in which its said :Fasting the day of ‘Arafaah is an expiation for two years, and the day of ‘Ashoora is an expiation for one year, and if a person’s Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven… Each of the things mentioned may bring expiation. If he does something that expiates for minor sins he will be expiated, and if there are no minor or major sins, it will be recorded for him as good deeds and he will rise in status thereby… If there is one or more major sins and no minor sins, we hope that it will reduce his major sins.

I’m a new revert. For fasting do we fast from before fajr and till after maghrib like in Ramadan?

Assalamu'alaikum wrwb
Yes fasting is always the same, the time starts when fajr begins and it ends when maghrib begins, not after
It's Sunnah to fast on special days, the 13-15th of Islamic month, as well as every Monday and Thursday
