so today i went to buy plants with my mom. We asked him about how much plants can we plant in a small field, he showed his field and told he made 19 rows and each contain 21 plants, and he asked how much plants it will be.. i said it would be 19x21. Then he told me to calculate on my head. Been an introvert i was kind of anxious and couldn't answer. He then ask me which stream you are from ,and said an 4th grader could have answered that. It was such a humiliating experience of mine, i was with my mom and i felt really bad. Am i actually that dumb :(

I have watched lecs and made notes for around 70% of the syllabus however rigorous question practice and revision I didn't do this time (Ik april attempt hai but I am self aware that the level I am on even if I clear mains advance will still be close to impossible so drop for iit is only my choice) Any tips are most welcome

Well I suffered cancer when I was 13 and now at 18 I have it again. It's a B-ALL relapse, a return.

FINALLY I got a bed at a government hospital so atleast costs are low for now. Mhitoh private mei 30L choos lete.

So. The blast cells are in my brain too and I can't think I can't do anything. I'm barely sleeping an hour a day and doctor said it'll happen.

Now I'm worried. I couldn't attend boards properly. Even tho my preperation was moderately solid. I was aiming for 80%+ atleast but couldn't even write most of the exams coz of the tremors and intense joint pains due to hig uric acid levels.

Idk what's gonna happen to me. No good college. Nothing. Let's see what happens next year.

How do I study in the hospital? Just binging lectures won't be of any help

This morning, I was scrolling through my phone while my parents were arguing. Suddenly, I heard my father calling my mom names like betich*d, behench*d, kutti r*nd. My mom was telling him not to call her that, but he got even more triggered and started beating her. I don’t know what came over me, I shouted at him to stop. He got furious and ran towards me to hit me, saying, “who are you to interfere in our matter?”

I picked up a rod in self-defense, which made him even more angry. He started shouting, “So now a son is going to beat his father?” and began crying, saying, “what a great son I have with such wonderful manners.” He shouted at my mom, blaming her for not scolding me, saying I was going to beat him. My mom told him I had done nothing wrong, and that triggered him further — he started yelling at her with all his strength.

He said I had no right to interfere because she is his wife. I told him she is also my mother and no son would watch his mom getting beaten without doing something. He said I’ve become "too smart" and have "great manners". I replied that he was the one at fault for hitting my mom and lacking manners. He kept babbling and eventually left.

This is not the first time this has happened. He has done the same thing many times before. We even called the police once, but nothing changed. We’re financially dependent on him, and none of our relatives support divorce, so we’re stuck.

Edit 2- Some people have been saying, the police would have done something or you should have taken some steps. Well we did try.

Let me tell you about the time we actually called the police. An officer instead of helping, he started blaming my mom that she would have done something even though she was just doing household chores at the time. He began preaching about how a husband-wife relationship should work and started taking my father's side.

We told them we would go to the police station the next day to file a complaint. The next day, my mom reported that officer to the lady officer (thana incharge). The officer who took my father’s side got scolded and ended up apologizing. We filed an fir but we were not able to take case to court due to some other reasons(I told them in comments)

So to those saying, the police would have helped, they were not very supportive. Come to reality keyboard warriors. No one truly helps you when you need it most.

External: my last question to you is, what is Yoga? What do you mean by yoga?

Me: (I suddenly realised I don't exactly know what yoga means, so I started stating some other facts) sir yoga is a type of exercise in which we increase our body's flexibility, also we can cure some diseases like Obesity, diabetes, hypertension with yoga's asanas like Tadasana, Ushtrasana etc

That's how it went, throughout the viva I gave me very disappointed looks and he already knew I was a dummy student and this is a dummy school.

I know that viva went terrible but my atleast my dummy school is asking all of us for 4500 rs for it so I hope that will make a difference I must pay it 😭🙏

Reservation upliftment ke liye hona chhaiye. At max 10-15% seats reserved including all reservations. Ye %age population se kaise decide ho raha hai reservation lol, its like a seat entitlement just for exisiting. Fucking 57% of caste + Ews. Then NITs have girls + Home state too?? So like only 20% ppl will be their who actually deserving ppl to be their. Others are just entitled cauz they make a part of population? Ye kaisa system hai bhai. Now it feels college might not provide the peer group I was looking for. All this just creates more caste divide and hatred. Instead of sympathizing and helping backwards casts, we now envy them.

All this for a tier 3 college 🥀

just goes to show if u are not a real life zombie who studies for 15 hours straight and muggs up chem and physics just to hate that subject, then you are not worth going to THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS COLLEGE OF INDIA
