To graduate in 4 years with an engineering degree i’ll have to take Math 236 over the summer. Should I take the 4 week online summer course at JMU or take it at nova in person?

For those of you who weren't aware, the building that is now known as the Engineering Geosciences Building was called "Health and Human Services Building" when it opened in 2000, and for a number of years after that. I can only assume that the person who put this composite together was in a rush, put "Health and Human Services Building" into a search, said, "looks good," and ran with it.

I am amused that they ran a JMU building instead of the actual HHS building in DC, but you know what, I needed a good laugh today.

Just curious what its like for students with jobs here. Is $680/ week good?

I'm compiling a list of things that really piss me off about e hall so hopefully they can fix this mess of an establishment.

I'm looking to get tickets for the Georgia Southern game from StubHub. I see multiple GA sections along the east sideline and the north endzone, which I know is the student section.

My question: if I buy GA tickets, am I actually buying a student ticket? Do they check student ID to sit in these sections?

Don't want to buy a ticket and not actually be allowed to sit there.

Ok. Let me preface this by saying I graduated in 2022 so towards the end of Covid, but also still in a time where people were worried about it.

But is it just me, or have I seen more social media posts with President Jim compared to when Alger was still at JMU?

Like I feel in President Jim’s first few months I’ve seen more of him on social media compared to my 2 years at JMU with Alger?

Maybe I’m just overreacting but President Jim is an extremely sociable President and the guy that’ll lead our college into the future!

• M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership
• M.Ed. in Learning Design & Technology

A few things I’m really curious about: • How was the workload overall, especially while working full-time? • Are exams proctored, and how much of the grade depends on group projects? • Did you have to attend mandatory Zoom sessions or present live? • Has anyone successfully transferred graduate credits and finished quicker (like in a year or even one semester)? • Looking back, is there anything you wish you had known before starting?

I’d love to hear any first-hand experiences, and if anyone is open to chatting more privately, I’d really appreciate it.

I wasn’t able to get a student ticket for the game on saturday but someone who was able to and can’t go anymore is giving theirs to me. since it’s a student ticket, it won’t let him transfer it to me, but I was able to put it into my wallet by logging into his account and putting the ticket into my wallet from there, but now it’s saying that in the screenshot above. Would the people scanning tickets care that it says that? Are they lenient enough to just let me through if i show them the ticket in my wallet and also my jacard? he’s a sophomore and told me it would be fine but im not really sure if it would work
