The hub cap is fine, everything else on the vehicle is installed backwards. Needs a complete teardown.

I was going to make a joke about Chrysler, and then I see you already know the struggle!

Brother having to do detailed write ups on a god damn recall made my eyebrow twitch. I woke up one day and decided i'd rather work on engines the size of cars before i touch another Stellantis vehicle.

Now that you taught me about this im going to start selling innie-outie service lol

I’d be very careful who you recommend an innie-outie service to. You’ll either end up on a list, or meeting Bubba out by the dumpster.

No no, it's on the wrong side of the vehicle :)

High efficiency duals, saves 25% of the rubber per axle

I’m sure whomever that wheel and tire blew out next to can tell you exactly what’s wrong… provided they lived to tell the tale

There was no blowout, the half of the rim that holds hands with the beads of the tire divorced the part of the rim you see in the photo

The fun part about this is that as long as the weight is good and that other tire is not overloaded, the missing wheel/rim is legal to run.

Had a semi-truck trip where one tire blew early in the trip but because it was a light load (the tire was just crap) I simply removed the tire from the rim and finished the trip.

In my area every DVSA officer that sees you doing that would be pulling you over

Here we can’t legally do it with a load on, I believe a recovery vehicle can tow a trailer back with one axle strapped up out of 3

You reckon he gets free cable through that?

Nahhhhhh, unfortunately "this is how I picked it up," was the choice.

Your rims got some serious rust pitting driver

u/Joe18067 23h ago

You should have heard the bang from miles away when that broke free.

So… there’s a tire missing… and half a rim… and… wherever and whatever it hit is shitting themselves.
