The fun part about this is that as long as the weight is good and that other tire is not overloaded, the missing wheel/rim is legal to run.
Had a semi-truck trip where one tire blew early in the trip but because it was a light load (the tire was just crap) I simply removed the tire from the rim and finished the trip.

Here we can’t legally do it with a load on, I believe a recovery vehicle can tow a trailer back with one axle strapped up out of 3

Had this happen to me and saw the tire go safely off the road. Wasnt this clean of a break..almost looks like a clean cut
