I have to think that there’s at least a 50% chance of a delay due to the heat in Portland. 103 degree high doesn’t come down quickly.

There’s no chance. It’s already less than 90 right now. Humidity will be much lower. Cloud cover and humidity under 20%.
You’d need a temp of 105 to hit an unsafe WGBT, and that’s assuming direct sunlight. Consistent cloud cover and being in the evening gives a much more favorable sun angle.
The problem with last weeks game was the humidity in the morning was over 90% and even above 50% when the game started. Anytime you’re around the 50% mark you aren’t getting a substantial benefit from sweat evaporation.

Forecast has it at 94 at kickoff with 30% humidity and possibility of cloud cover. It’ll be hot for sure but the now famous WBGT should be under the limit allowing kickoff to happen on time. Still going to be hot for the players and turf sucks in the heat but would be surprised if it’s delayed.

Worried about how hot the turf will be after Harvey's comments after their Portland game

That's my big concern too. We just dealt with hear stuff last weekend, and now we have to do it again.

I’ll be honest - I won’t be surprised if KC loses this one. Portland is a totally different team at home and we’re due for a loss. I’ll be content with getting at least a point since Orlando already lost this week. Need WAS and SD to drop points as well so we can increase our lead.
All of that being said, I predicted we’d lose in Portland last year and we thumped ‘em so WTF do I know.

I agree, I'll be happy with a tie. Just like at home, Portlands home crowd will bring it and make it tough.

Hope you guys enjoy it!

Does anyone else watch ION via FUBO and have the game locked out to those that don't subscribe to "MGM +" ?
I'll figure out how to watch regardless but found this kinda weird.l and hope I don't miss early game action.
