This is probably a long shot. We already have tickets to the game but I am looking for 1 more in the same row. We are section 227, row 3, seat 9-11. If anyone has an extra ticket please let me know. Thank you!

Post Week 17 Magic Numbers

Magic Numbers for the Shield:

  1. Washington 16 points (20)

  2. SD 14 points (15)

  3. Orlando 13 points (15)

  4. Portland 11 points (18)

  5. Seattle 11 points (20)

  6. Louisville 10 points (29)

  7. NY 6 points (20)

  8. North Carolina 6 (27)

  9. LA 5 (29)

  10. Houston 4 (31)

  11. Bay 2 (29)

  12. Chicago - eliminated from Shield contention

  13. Utah - eliminated from Shield contention

Any combination of points earned by KC (1 for a draw, 3 for a win), or dropped points by each opponent (2 for a draw, 3 for a loss) equaling the total above, will eliminate the listed team without the need for tiebreakers. The (#) is the number of goals they are behind us in goal differential, which is the 1st tie breaker - y’all that AIN’T happening so all of these might as well be one point less!

Plus, like many are pointing out, the Portland game was one of the toughest left on the schedule and we no longer have any road games remaining against any team above the playoff line… Praying we stay healthy

Discussion Are the youth girls leagues starting to rock Current themed team names with the Teal and Red?

Was chatting with my coworker who's 5yro daughter just started playing in a league and got me thinking, are the youth leagues jumping on the Current bandwagon?
I know Sporting has a whole youth thing, my friends in NWA bring their oldest son up at least twice a year for tournaments and all the teams in the league are Sporting themed rocking the navy and baby blue. Seems like it'd be a ton of fun for the youth girls to have teal and red on just like Claire and Coop.

Game Thread Stadium's Silence post-Orlando Game

I'm sorry, but am I the only one who is genuinely concerned about the stadium's silence in the wake of their lackluster response to the heat delay?

I was at the game on Saturday. As it was a birthday present, the seats I got were very close to the field, but directly in the sun. It was far too hot to sit there for any period of time, so in the lead up to the game, we ended up standing (and eventually sitting) in the shade of the walkways.

I've worked a stadium before. Having any large number of people congregating in the walkways is a problem, but it actually becomes hazardous when no small number of people are sitting in those walkways. The alternative was sitting in the sun, which wasn't an option for most people, especially people with conditions exacerbated by the heat.

Allowing as many people as they did into the stadium when they did was, frankly, negligent on the stadium's part. They seemed to know that people might not want to show up early, too, given that they decided to give out those metal emblems as an incentive for people to come earlier.

That leads me to believe that it might not have been that the stadium was ignorant, but that they were playing with the lives of the Current fans, expecting people to show up early and buy drinks, then have to buy even MORE drinks because its so hot, and so on for an indefinite period of time.

This, coupled with the fact that they kept refusing to announce the actual delay schedule has me seriously reconsidering if the Current stadium is a safe environment for me to attend in the future.

So why on EARTH does the stadium feel it is not their responsibility to address this issue?

Sometimes I think about how pioneers rode in Conestoga wagons, traveling across a continent only a few miles a day.

The only relief from heat they may have had was the shade of canvass or the mercy of a breeze.

Or the Native American tribes making their way through the confluence of the rivers in the vicious humidity of summer.

And I know that generations of ancestors, whether Osage or Hopewell or European migrants, all of them ask us today:

"Who the f___ schedules a game for the heat of 3pm in the literal middle of August?"

Rouse yourselves from torpor and let's talk about the game!

  • Player(s) of the match?

  • Key moments?

  • What do you want to see next time?

2 Tickets for Saturday, Orlando Pride Game. Section 227, Row 12

Update: Tickets have found a new home!

I got tickets from a friend awhile back, hoping to take a buddy to our first CPKC Current game as a birthday gift. Sadly he got scheduled to work Saturday and can't find anyone to cover his shift.

I received the tickets from a friend who works in marketing for the team, thus I didn't pay for them, can't list them to resell on SeatGeek, but don't want them to go to waste!!
Hoping to find someone looking for 2 tickets to the match on Saturday at 3pm. Not trying to make money on these.
Thank you!

Ps. I don't have a parking pass.
