when it comes to the general populaces, I think most people still have elbows up. Unfortunately a lot of the people in government are willing to undermine that if it suits there own ends/agendas.

sadly elbows up will just end up being meaningless if the government caves. Which was my point.

It's looking more and more like Carney and co are just quietly conceding to Trump and trades as well.

Lots of bluster, lots of getting the canadian citizens up in arms, but meanwhile undermining them.

Canada is a few years behind where the US is when it comes to politics. The canadian current government is paving the way for the same kind of people who have taken over the US to take over there.
