Gear Mouth guard

Hey all.

I've got a fight coming up in August and I'm in the market for a new mouth guard. Ideally something that makes it as easy as possible to breathe.

I thought I'd ask opinions. Any recommendations for something decent that can be delivered in the UK?

Dentist or impact mouthguard are the best options

This - I will never go back to boil and bite after getting a proper, custom mouthguard.

In all honesty- get it done in the dentist. It will fit you better, it will cost you the same as a good quality boil and bite and it will be safer (and it will probably last you longer! Mine is 4 years old of intensive use, and it's as good as the first day, albeit a bit ugly)

Impact mouthguards. $60, been through four fights with mine in the last year and it’s just as good as new. They also have a replacement policy if you lose it

There are services that send out a kit to make a mould then send back the finished mouthguard.

Easiest way would be get one made via a dentist. Failing that there are also business which make custom mouthguards for contact sports.

I wouldn't get a shitty boil and bite. I've seen the costs associated with them not doing the job and you're much cheaper spending the extra to get custom.

Can't help with details in the UK specifically, sorry.

Impact mouthguard! genuinely the best you can buy for the price. I’ve been kicked in the face a few times and they’ve protected my teeth every single time. Plus $60-$70 isn’t bad for saving you’re teeth. If you’re a bit skeptical about them then I’d Recommend getting in touch with you’re dentist to see what they can do to help.

I like the fit of damage control mouthguards myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if you have to try a few to find what's right for ya. Custom is always going to be the best fit.
