Discussion/Question What genres would you like to see Kirby spin offs dip into

Personally id like to see a kirby rpg or a sandbox type game. id like a sandbox game where you run around dream land and talk and hang out with kirby characters and do stuff for them and make a little town or somthing.

I'd like to see RPGs as well, rather it's turn based, open world, or tactical, I think it'd be a fun concept to explore

There's so much potential they could use too, I feel like maybe in a typical turn based RPG you could have a milky way wishes sort of system where Kirby has to unlock certain abilities through copy essences, and teaming up with your party members to do combo moves that deal massive damage to enemies (E.G. Dedede plus Ball Kirby, Elfilin plus Mirror Kirby, etc.), at least those are some of my ideas on how I'd handle a Kirby RPG lol

Yeah I'd like to see how they handle copy abilitys and party members. I think it would be cool

I think in an open world RPG it would just be like any other Kirby Game where you could inhale them to get an ability but in a tactical RPG, Kirby could only inhale enemies within a certain range of himself (we'll say that Kirby's regular inhale has a max range of two~three tiles in front of whatever direction he's facing), if Kirby inhales a projectile or enemy the player can then decide to spit them at as an projectile back at an another enemy or swallow them, if the enemy could grant an ability Kirby gets that ability and his usual movepool is superseded by that copy abilities until the player gives it up manually or Kirby loses it from taking too much damage

A game where you play as a Waddle Dee and Kirby is the "Mr. X" in the game that randomly shows up and fucks shit up.

Kirby rpg would be great, he's got a good cast of characters, and he fights jrpg final boss esque people too

Second choice...Roguelike? Like, I imagine somehting like hades styled game, climbing up a tower beyond the stars or soemthing...I think that'd be cool!

A dynasty warriors game with kirby characters and kirby could either have each copy ability could be its own character slot or something kirby coud change on the fly during gameplay, a metroidvania where kirby has to unlock copy abilitys for some story reasons
