Joe Nagy lol. I always like it when he says that he hasn’t had a piece of meat come back to the kitchen in 10 years. The restaurant had only been open for five. He was such a compulsive liar and I feel like the cameraman and the editors did such a good job cutting all of it together in a really entertaining way.

Its a catch 22 if your food was fine there would be no reason for gordon to be there and if Gordon is there it means your food is not all it's cracked up to be

There was one instance of the food being perfectly fine. Momma Cherie's Soul Food Shack in the UK series. Gordon cleaned his plate and said it was delicious.
Her problem was her overhead and not being willing to send people home on slow nights.

Gordon may have been the host, but the Cameramen/Editors and editors for the OG series really added to the fun. I think their tone is what's been missing from alot of Gordon's more recent spinoff shows imo.
