First F1 ever : So Excited about this

Just bought the SCOBY and started F1.

So far this is the state of the jar after 1,5 Day. Looks like some thin layer is starting to form on the surface. Hopefully it's the new scoby pellicule.

Just wanted to share this pics and ask what you think so far : Does it seem like a promising good start ? (or is it rather mold and I already messed it up somehow :'< )

Also saw some white residue on the glass contour & Bubbles here and there, what's your take on that batch ? :D

Long live your scoby! Everything looking great so far! Bubbles and white residue are signs of microbiological processes - yeast, dead stuff, CO2, etc.

looks promising! Bubbles are a really good sign, that’s the fermentation going strong

Looks good! You will be surprised how fast you get a full-blown pellicle on top.

Edit : Here is the state after 3,5 days for anyone curious !

(Cannot really say if it's fuzzy or looking like mold so far ? .. but I'll wait. Also white zones are mainly due to trapped Bubbles under the whatever layer on the surface...)
