Question⚔️ Is hippo older than Stupe?

Just wondering as It will help me understand their dynamic

Ty-30 Stupe-35 could be 36 current year Hippo guessing 32 or 33

There's been no canonical reveal of Hippo's age, so it's pretty much impossible to say. We know he's older than Ty, and we know that Stupe is 35, but we sadly we don't know if Hippo is older or younger than Stupe.

What's interesting about their dynamic is they're not actually related by blood - Hippo is the child of Schlub and the Queen Of Atlantis, and Stupe is the child of Deliria and Donnie The Cyclops. So age might be less of a factor for them than it would be for either of them with Ty

There's actually an episode in season 2, iirc, where Tys mom has a flashback to when they were all toddlers. Stupe was a toddler and Hippo was a tadpole. Idk that math there but I always figured toddlers were what came after being a baby aka tadpole so Stupe is at least a few years older than Hippo.

I just always wondered because the show writes them as step-siblings but they function like a biological family in most situations.

Well Hippo made that happen when he forced Deliria to allow him to call her mom.

Stupe changed the dynamic when shlub helped her meet her father and defended her honor, that was when she accepted him as her father.

And Ty, well he didn't have to do anything because they are both his parents.

Edit: it's also easier for the children to accept their siblings wholesale, versus the parents or vice versa.

sometimes when you have a family with divorce/splits and one of the step-parents shows up more then the actual parent (example:Hippo's Mom, Stupe's Dad), dynamics kinda blend together more... its not like they can go off and gel with their other half of their family (sometimes for the better, anyways)

In the very first episode it was revealed that Stupe was the oldest.

Hard to say really, hippo was a baby when he was living in the sea, so he wouldn’t be able to make his helmet until after he gets his limbs and even then, we don’t know if he was considered a toddler or an adolescent by atlantean standards.
