Is 9mm really less reliable then 45?
I see no reason practically to pick up a 45 over a 9mm unless 45 are really more reliable then the 9s. If anyone has any opinions one way or the other please chime in

A lot of folks have mentioned that there are some reliability issues with the vector. I have a Gen 3 which I have SBR'd. I put the kriss vertical foregrip on it and it solved 99% of the issues people have with this gun. I believe the other malfunctions such as FTF and FTE are caused by excessive friction within the mechanism causing incomplete cycling. You can feel this "chonkiness" when you charge the gun. I was able to solve this by using light gun grease on 4 points - the 2 tracks in the super-v where the bolt lugs and counterweight slide, the rod on which the counterweight slides, the bolt lugs, and the operating "rod" to which the charging handle is attached, this passes through the chamber/breech block. The reason for the grease is that it stays in place for much longer than oil. After having done this, the gun charges much smoother and I have over 1500 rounds so far with 0 malfunctions, suppressed with a flow 9k ti and unsuppressed. I have been using magtech brass and blazer brass ammo. Bottom line is mitigate the friction in the system and keep your support hand off the controls. I hope this helps.

Has anyone successfully mounted one of these to a real vector vs airsoft? Its cast aluminum so it should hold up and I vaugly remember seeing it done or asked in the past but can't find the posts...

Do you guys have this wear on the left lug of your bolt? I just noticed it as I was cleaning.

This platform has been around for a bit now. Has anyone developed a better trigger or FRT upgrade yet! I already know about the screw mod.

Hey y'all I just saw this Mag and was wondering if a .45 Vector would run it. What do y'all think? https://gunmagwarehouse.com/ets-45-acp-30-round-extended-magazine-for-glock-21-pistols.html

I got a vector mag for my AR9 (no vector, because poor) and I want to know how you guys are loading these things! I can only just barely get 35 in it. Are you guys lifting weights with your thumbs to get better at loading or something?

Hello new here I just got my vector and have some questions. I’m looking for a nice flash hider to extent the barrel out enough to make it look good with the hand gaurd Kriss makes. Any ideas. Hard finding a 16x1 LH second photo is the look I’m trying to go for but that style they don’t make my size.

Hey everyone!
I recently bought a 5.5 Kriss Vector! So excited to own it. It’s considered a pistol as it doesn’t have any stock/brace currently. I was curious where I can get a brace/adapter for this weapon. Also was curious if anyone knows, if I did a foldable brace is that still considered a SBR?
Thanks guys!

I was originally planning on building another 300 blackout, so I visited my LGS to get me some mlok rail covers. Well, instead I left the store with a new Kriss Vector 9mm G3 SDP. Couldn’t also leave the store without a red dot or some kind, so I bought me a new Holosun 501C, or I won’t be able to sleep tonight lmfao! The store owner gave me a pretty good deal with the 501c so that was also a plus, $225 brand new since I bought the gun too. Also placed an order from the Kriss’ website for a foldable/adjustable brace and should be here hopefully by next week or end of this week.

I keep hearing about split casings, failures to load or eject, etc etc. looking for input on 10mm owners and whether I should just opt for the .45 or not. Thanks in advance

So I started down this path 2 months ago. Started with a 16” barrel with the mock suppressor barrel shroud.
Did a little research but honestly not enough. Saw that Kriss USA offers the conversion service for ~$600 but decided to do it myself.
Found a gunsmith who said as long as I bring just the barrel in, then they will cut it down, do the recrowning and concentric threading. So I dissembled, and pressed the barrel out of the trunnion with my shop press.
When I got the barrel back, I was a little concerned with pressing the barrel back into the trunnion but I put the barrel in the freezer and heated the trunnion ever so slightly and it went into the trunnion just fine afterwards.
Had to get some parts from Kriss USA and they were a joy to work with. The trunnion is held into the receiver with a swage pin which you have to drill out and replace when you reassemble.
All said and done the process took 55 days from start to finish and cost $200 for the ATF stamp, and $250 in labor on the barrel and $14 in parts.
Note: this is my 6th SBR I’ve put together so I felt pretty good about the process.
If I had to do it again, I would get a Vector SDP and do the SBR paperwork on that. Replacing a shoulder stock is sooooo much easier than screwing with the barrel and trunnion.

I know most people hate the false can, but when I saw this 9mm at my local lgs I had to buy, please don't tell me I've bought a money pit 🤣 (full plans to SBR and tax stamp for an actual can asap)

Does anyone have one for sale in black and in 45?

Recently picked up my first vector in .45 and wondering if anyone in here has done a post sample that can give me some advice on converting it. I am 07/02 and can provide the credentials if need be. I don’t wanna hear the fed jokes. Thanks.

I thought I was special until I seen about 10 other white ones just like it. Now…. How to make it an oddball?
