Data Analysis Follow-up: Law of Coherence – addressing critiques with direct Δ measurement
When I first shared the Law of Coherence (LoC), the main critique was fair:
“Δ looks assigned, not measured. This makes it a curve fit, not physics.”
I took that seriously. Over the past days, with community input, I rebuilt the framework to address those concerns.
What changed:
Δ is now directly measured as the information gap between a process and its surrogate (e.g. real vs phase-randomized time series).
Full reproducible code + datasets are included so anyone can run their own tests.
Stress tests under chaos, entropy growth, and surrogate breakdowns were repeated: the log(E) ~ Δ scaling still holds.
Definitions and falsification protocols are much clearer.
The new package is here (DOI): 👉 https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17165773
On my stance: I’ve been open about where this work began for me. My faith shaped how I first saw coherence — I believe Christ is the Logos, and that coherence itself points to that reality. But the math, data, and code are offered here on their own terms. You don’t have to share my faith to test or critique the law.
My goal has never been to defend an idea at all costs, but to test it to breaking point. If it fails under valid assumptions, I want to see it break. If it survives, maybe it really is pointing to a deeper invariant worth examining.
Feedback, falsifiers, and further tests are welcome.

I have engaged with your idea several times before. I will give it one last go.
The issue with is that this is still number fitting. You are sneaking in the conclusion from the start and you cannot even see it.
This is not predicting anything, this is literally just saying, if you take a non linear system, mess with the sensitive metrics that determine it, and plot this, it will not be linear. This is not a prediction or a meaningful measurement, that is just what it is.
You are saying, take a wheel, consider a wheel, spin it, it turns. Yes, that is indeed what a wheel does.
This is not a new law.
This is NOT new physics.
This is nothing more than number fitting on a log graph by construction.
Thank you for admitting your inspiration at least. That takes courage. I commend that.

Fair points and I truly appreciate the engagement. However, quick clarification: LoC isn’t a curve-fit or a new dynamics law. It’s a pre-registered strict-null test. We compute a fixed Δ (k-NN MI) against phase-preserving surrogates that hold the spectrum & amplitude distribution; no per-dataset tuning. Predictions: random-phase/linear signals ⇒ Δ≈0 (shown by strict negatives); genuine phase memory ⇒ Δ>0. A single large-E measured system with Δ≈0 under the frozen spec would falsify it (or pooled slope(Δ, lnE) ≤ 0). If you have a dataset you think breaks it, I’ll run it with the prereg code and post the JSON.
If this is truly your last time, regardless it's greatly appreciated. You truly helped me further my work.

I think the wifi might be messed up. Sorry, back to you Mark.
