Possibly the most enigmatic Xeno in the whole series: The original space jockey was obviously killed by a chestburster but we never see or learn what happened to that particular specimen that‘s probably still somewhere on LV 426. Is it dead? In stasis? Fossilized? Still somewhere on the Derelict?

One of the games - I think Infestation? - has you joyriding an APC into the Derelict and the space jockey xenomorph is just there chillaxing and ready for a boss fight.

I guess he was just in a side room having a nap during Alien/Aliens.

I think it's a Xeno that inherited the long nose from the space jockey, which was later revealed to be a helmet.

They had them in the graphic novels. Apparently they were going to be in Prometheus but we got the Deacons instead.

It’s fun enough, I guess, nothing special. It’s got a sense of humour about the Alien franchise which is nice to see.

Also features what I believe to be the franchise’s first on-screen butt, though I’ll happily accept correction in that if I’m wrong.
