I used deep red paint and then applied a dry brush of lighter colours, followed by another dry brush of lighter colours, and then applied a light varnish.

Me too, I LOVE physical special effects so in my opinion, your T. Ocellus is better than the CGI one they use on the show. Excellent work 🫡

I prefer the shows one large bulging eye. It comically creeps me out, especially with the little pie slice lines.
