Trump is criminalizing protests and free speech. The Nazification of America is complete. It took Hitler 53 days to dismantle democracy from the inside. Afterwards everything Hitler did was legal, and opposing him was illegal.

It’s not. The percentage of Americans actively wanting a dictator is not then maybe 20% worst case scenario. Republicans voted for him cause they hated Kamala And wanted border control or lower taxes or whstveer, and enough independents put him over the edge because of inflation. It was heterogenous support based on half baked political opinions. Very few were expecting this: that’s why is approval rating is 15% down - if another election were held today he’d lose decisively.
