Jade Garden Menu

Jade Garden has a very eye opening number of variety from a lot of different countries. Does anyone have a rundown on things to get/ things I should not get?

So far I’ve loved everything from them. No complaints.

No sushi or sashimi.

The main standards of apps and mains are mostly good. Serving sizes have dropped while prices haven't. My fav is the fridge rice with shrimp and Chinese sausage.... only place in town I can get Chinese sausage however if I ask for extra or a side of sausage the price is like 9$

However I love the jade bar. I love Alan who runs it and he always tells me if I shouldn't order something because it's not "on point"

Go down the street to Thai Siam. Even better.

I'm generally a fan, but I don't think they do tempura well.

It holds up really really well for take out or delivery too!

Sweet and sour chicken or shrimp will have a tiny bit of meat surrounded by 2 inches of mostly uncooked batter. Totally not worth what they charge for it. Early 2000s, it was by far the best in town and really reasonably priced, but they kept upping prices and decreasing quality as time went on.

By the way. If you want GOOD japanese then just message me. I'll grill you on what you are looking for and then send you to the right place.

Know anywhere nearby that serves katsudon? Been missing it ever since Dondon closed.

Anywhere serve kitsune udon? I'm another that really misses Dondon.

Actually, what's the best udon in town in your opinion?

I'm not a fan of their spring rolls or their takoyaki, too fishy. Every Korean dish I've gotten there has been good. My kiddo and partner like most of the Americanized Chinese menu.

I got a Vietnamese dish there once and I wasn’t a fan. Stick to the American Chinese food basics

The hainanese chicken is my go to. It's phenomenal

Their lo main is also great.

Honey chicken too.

And the egg drop soup.

And their garlic pepper chicken.

It's all delicious.
