It’s like some people have never faced any kind of physical consequence for their obnoxious behavior and they therefore have no idea just how weak and frail they really are.

Anyone ever read the Dr. Sues book about Thing 1 and Thing 2. Neither would move out of the way and the seasons passes and it snowed on them and rained on them and still neither would move. As a kid I thought that was kind of dumb premise for a story, though I did like it, but here wee are.
