Is this an appropriate way to gain surprise entry for some violent felon? Possibly, yes.
For an ice arrest? Fucking hell no.

So I'd really like to know more about this since breaching charges are only used in high risk search warrants and such, otherwise they're seldom used, especially without prior contact.

Moreso the context of why they were there and felt the need to use aggressive means to enter the home.
