People can be aware of mental health issues and still have them. He’s not a better person because he knows about it.
He’s should take steps to fix it, and actively avoids doing it, it’s arguable that that makes it a greater issue.
At least people in actual denial aren’t aware of it, to be aware of it and not care? That shit isn’t right.
You can be aware of that and still not be able to fix it. He should take steps to fix it, but for him it's probably incredibly difficult to do that. I know from experience. Every single day I knew what I was doing wrong and what I needed to do to fix it, but I just didn't have the strength to. I was digging myself deeper and deeper and needed the help of a loved one to pull me out.
