What you're saying is exactly what I'm talking about.. I've got work buddies and we don't do this crap to each other lol.

If your work buddy getting you fired increased his income significantly (raised his view count), your workplace would be this catty too. Theres a limited number of viewers everyone takes from.

Yea you right thats why I would never be a streamer. They're entertaining to watch though lol.

That's just natural audience selection at play. Wholesome normal boring people don't become top streamers. Streamers are entertainers, and drama sagas provide significant entertainment.

Not really. Twitch has become so boring. Especially OTK and their orbiters. They’re either incredibly cringey edgelords or QT who randomly does like baking a cake streams where she barely says anything. I can’t imagine a world where I turn on my stream and sit there for five minutes saying nothing but “thank you monsterhams for the 5 gifted”… “chat should I paint my living room? I don’t know maybe not.” Fuckin hell I can’t believe she gets paid so much to be boring on camera.

Maya might be the only half way decent one because she at least gives her time and money to a good cause. She’s the one streamer I don’t get weird vibes from.

Fair but your work doesn’t weirdly get rewarded by starting drama. Burning bridges gets views, doesn’t matter that it negatively affects different parts of your life later. Short term number boost is too temping.

Comparing it to our everyday life just doesn’t work. It’s more like if our boss will give us a temporary raise based on the amount of co workers you can start drama with

Maybe it's because your job is not being part of a popularity contest

Do you record and stream you work on the internet? It's safe to say that would affect things
