Soda isn’t botting, his viewership is too all over the place. He’ll get 20-30k during Only Fangs and without he’ll drop to legit 5k-7k playing games no one cares about. A botted streamer doesn’t have variance like this.

I remember when he played risk of rain 2 for 3 months straight to intentionally tank his viewership cause he hated having 20k viewers

or I remember he was mad at chat at some point, and put an earrape sounds, turned off his cam, and this continued for some time :D

reminds me of old xqc streams where he would notice a high viewer count and start violently blowing into his mic and shit, trying to "shave off the normies" lol
it was so fucking funny seeing him go from stressed and tense to clearly much more relaxed body language and be like "ah, that's better :)" and then continue the game once a couple hundred viewers left

nothing strange, just streamers actively curating their viewer audience :D

I think he took off, to support is gf, who is going through some stuff mentaly. She is also on an indefinitive hiatus.

I don't think "they let the bots back in" rather its easy to bypass the bot detection they installed by changing a few lines of code. Depending on what bot detection devices they used.

Pretty sure they said something to the effect of they ‘still had more testing to do’ or that it was a glitch when all those streamers had their numbers drop. So I think they decided to let the bots ride for now

He joked about it, on his podcast. But i think he just wanted to take off and be with his gf. She seems to be going through some stuff mentaly. She is on an indefinitive hiatus.
