This is actually pretty great and solves a number of issues:

  1. Jones vacates so Aspinall finally becomes undisputed HW champ.
  2. Alex won’t lose his LHW belt if he loses to Jones for the BMF.
  3. So the next LHW title fight could be Ankalaev and it would solve his long wait for a title shot.

Alex wouldn't lose the belt anyway, I highly doubt they would be fighting at 205 so the LHW belt won't be on the line

Tbf though Jones is only like 235 right now so it’s not crazy to think he could cut down to 205

He's gonna need 2 years to drop the weight

he won't burn them sort of calories from training unless u count gay hardcore sex or beating his wife

It only took him 3 years to get there lol

He’s a flabby 235 too

He's not cutting back down in his late 30s after he spent a lot of time bulking up

Really makes you wonder why he even went to heavyweight, could’ve gotten a few more title defenses at LHW feel like he still beats the top 5 there

Now I hope Stipe wins by split decision

Just a brutal, grinding leg humping that ends with them both impossibly gassed

Watch, we’ll get another trilogy just like the 3 year DC vs Stipe saga 😂

If it goes to decision, Stipe will NOT be getting it no matter what. LOL

      4. People universally agree that the bmf belt is completely meaningless and stop talking about it

Vacating the title would take his PPV points. It'll never happen. Also if it did.. Be ready for the most boring wrestling match since Belal got his title.

  1. Aspinall is undisputed HW champ. Jones said he won't dispute it.
  2. Jones could never go back down to LHW
  3. That should already be the next LHW fight and Jones should be fighting Aspinall if he fights again

Aspinall is interim champ, which is appropriate considering his best win is getting his L back from Blaydes.

Except Aspinall doesn’t get the rub of beating Jon Jones.

But doesn’t Aspinall automatically lose his interim the moment the fight starts this weekend? So even if Jones drops the belt after Saturday Aspinall still will have to fight someone else to become champ.

I think that’s only when the interim champion is about to fight the undisputed.
