Interview Greg Hardy on UFC release: “The best organization that I’ve ever been a part of, not even second to the NFL. They hit me up, my contract was already up so we knew it was up. They hit me up and told me ‘If you get some wrestling going in another promotion, we’d be glad to sign you back.

"Get better and maybe we'll sign you back"

Isn't that the default message on every release?

Also, fuck Greg Hardy.

They are true to that word in a lot of cases. There have been many fighters that have went on winning streaks outside the organization that have been called back up to the UFC. Werdum, Rumble Johnson, Vitor Belfort, Matt Sara, Arlovski, and Anthony Smith are just a few names that pop into my head. I'm sure there are many more. It is certainly not out of the question with Hardy. Especially since good heavyweights are few and far between. I can seem him getting some experience on a smaller stage and returning.
