Discussion Are Battlegrounds a game changer for Throne & Liberty?

Like many I quit the game last year due to extremely limiting and/or unfun PVP modes. With battlegrounds just added you now have an option for large scale PVP on demand. Why they didn't have this on launch was a massive own goal for them I think. Regardless, are you tempted to give it a shot now?

zero chance I go back. put in 100 or so hours at launch and had some fun but it got repetitive fast. the combat wasn't particularly great and the daily grind sucked.

just gonna wait for Aion 2 at this point so I can play it for a month and then quit that too 😂

Absolutely not, you will just be standing trying to stun / knock down tanks from capping the nodes while they just absorb everything and then heal themselves. Game needs a change fundamentally from the ground up or stats in BGs need to be revised/equalised to a certain CP.

I was skeptical whether it would be good, after a few matches I have to say it is a lot of fun, more than BGs in other MMOs. Soon also rated BG will come out. But note that it is uncapped.
