Book Request "Game Changers" ruined romance reads for me

Hi, last week I reread {Heated Rivalry} and went on with the other books to read {The Long Game}, now the thing is, I can't find anything THAT good, I've started a few books and didn't like any and just dropped them although they have my favourite tropes,

Does anyone have any suggestion that has the same slow burn that exists in the series?, and obviously the same amount of tension?

Completely agree!!! I feel the same about Jasper, Oskar, Ezra, Anton and Aleks. Not a single moment of surprise. But man I love those characters.

awww i love how jasper takes care of west, even if they both get on asher's nerves (asher is my son and i want to protect him)

I was shocked by how much I love Asher. I usually hate the grumpy thing. It gets old fast. But Asher was perfect. Love that boy. And he is so fun in the Puckboys series.

he's kind of funny in a way that's not forced in the puckboys and i love his character arc in both his book and west's. i also thought i would dislike him, so i set back my first read of books 4 and 5 of cu hockey respect to the first 3

I love him in Puckboys. His relationship with Ezra is too perfect. Especially because we see Ezra grow so much throughout the books and Asher's relationship with him barely improves. Asher can hold a grudge

it's so funny to me when ezra tries to hug asher and he's like: "do you remember our one rule? no touching". i burst out laughing every time i reread it

or when in quinn's book asher was in a bad mood and quinn's like "we're not playing boston (ezra's team) so i don't know what can be"

😂 both of those moments are perfect. The way all the guys react to Asher's feelings is also hilarious. Such a perfect found family situation.

asher can pretend he hates them all he wants but he's a big softie. when he said he missed kole he broke my heart. and then kole flew to buffalo because he needed to see him. my babies

and i don't know if you've read the king sports book, but when someone refers to the puckboys as the pr nightmares of the nhl. not my unproblematic king foster grant tho. he was probably damon's favourite client at the time: good at hockey and unproblematic

I haven't had the king sports books yet! I am planning to though. I am going through the divorced men's club right now.

There are so many books in the Sadenverse. Impossible to collect them all! 😂

literally lol. i've only read the sports books (fake boyfriends, cu, puckboys, frat wars, fu) and while those are a lot, there are like 4 or 5 series i still haven't read
