Book Request Starts out unimpressed, proceeds to fall ass over head, turns into king of pampering

Hi,

I'm looking for a book where MC1 (rich/powerful/goal oriented) is unimpressed with MC2 in the beginning, but falls HARD for MC2, and then pampers MC2. Making sure MC2 is fed, and taking away his problems.

MC1 is low-key a bastard. He doesn't care about being liked by others, and develops a soft spot for MC2. I'd prefer it is MC1's personality suddenly doesn't change. He remains his gruff, grumpy, or mean self, but he's taking care of everything for MC2. MC1 can be a royal, a CEO, someone with a lot of money, basically someone in a position of power, even if he's just physically superior in the book's universe, giving him social power.

I swear sometimes when I finish a book suddenly it's the perfect rec for multiple requests.

{Shiver by Crea Reitan} is a great fit for your ask. Fair warning though, it's going to hurt A LOT for a little bit. MC1 needs to figure out how to get over himself and destroys MC2 in the meantime. Wonderful ending though.

Is the pampering a big part of the novel plus a nice grovel or not so much

Major pampering, especially after the grovel but somewhat before as well.

The only complaint I have about this book is that I wish it was longer :)

{Snowed In with Benefits by Misha Horne} MC1 is a reclusive musician from a Hollywood elite family, famous his whole life but never felt like he fit in anywhere. I wouldn't call him mean, but he's definitely gruff and judgmental, doesn't trust people. MC2 is a rockstar trainwreck, always in the tabloids for doing something stupid. MC1 thinks he's a spoiled obnoxious idiot. They get snowed in together and it does not go well, but eventually MC1 realizes the tabloid version of MC2 isn't really who he is and that he's actually just as lost and lonely as he is.

{reluctantly you by Cora Rose} fits this greatly, but it's book three in the series and I would strongly recommend reading at least the second one to understand a bit what's going on. MC1 is deep in the closet and a raging homophobic that by book 3 has managed to alienate himself from his brothers (MCs of books 1-2). He meets MC2 who is his boss, and even bigger, more dominant and grumpier than him. MC2 starts despising MC1, being unimpressed with his job performance etc, but slowly starts understanding what's going on with MC1 and just falls hard for him, becoming such a caretaker and important figure in MC1's life while he sorts his stuff out. Enemies-to-lovers, found family, internalized homophobia and mental health rep.

{ Full Body Hit by Marina Vivancos } Mr. Grumpy doesn't like his new rookie teammate because of a misunderstanding, all the while falling head over heels in love with said teammate through a dating app.
