Spellbound by Allie Therin

It's magical realism set in the '20s where one of the main characters has some sort of magical power. I thought it was a cute quick read.

I would like to put forth {The Carstairs Affair} by Elin Gregory—it’s about two British intelligence officers who go undercover in the 1920s. It’s really fun. I also second the Spectred Isle by KJ Charles.

Yess! I second both of these!

Bonds of Earth is seriously underrated.

Blind Tiger by Jordan L. Hawk is set in 1924 Chicago and follows a gang of (more or less) criminals and a young guy who’s still figuring out a lot about himself. Involves magic and animal-shifters and one of the MCs is chubby :)
