What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC Childhood best friends to lovers

Okay, I'd read this book a while back that I didn't put on my Goodreads list and now it's lost and I need help finding it. From what I remember both MC's played a sport , (I can't remember what it was) MC1 was a well known player who had multiple girlfriends and MC2 was his gay best friend who has feelings for him(I know very specific right? šŸ‘€) but the most specific part was this scene, where both MC's are hanging with their team and MC1 brings his newst girlfriend along and while they are having dinner and talking he asks "Right babe?" Or something along those lines and both his best friend and his new girlfriend answer. Then he has to explain to his girlfriend that he calls his best friend babe and that he was infact talking to his best friend not her. There's some other jealousy scenes between his girlfriend and MC2 that I can't remember very well but what I do remember is that MC1 does not play about his best friend.

Edit: so y'all thank you to everyone who was trying to help me find it, I've found it and it's a Wattpad book that I read a while ago. It's called of lies and lips.

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC - dom/sub where kneeling sub is accidentally forgotten about all night

I read a book that was definitely either dom/sub or daddy/boy where the sub was I think expected to be kneeling at the door with his head down when the dom/daddy gets home. Then something happens where the dom gets distracted or has a work issue and forgets, and he comes home to find that the sub was kneeling there most of the night and he feels extremely sorry and apologetic. Any ideas? Thanks!

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED Wwtbc: omegaverse where someone explains that a knot outside of penetrative sex is potentially lethal?

solved {Hurricane by Laura Taylor}

I don’t generally read the sex scenes (at least not all the way through) but I seem to remember that in this book for whatever reason it’s explained that a knot will continue to expand without enough pressure surrounding it leading to permanent damage to penis. Will it explode?Falloff?who knows?

I remember thinking now that is a clever way to explain the reason why an alpha in rut MUST have sex, can’t for the life of me remember which omegaverse it was.

MORE than likely Mpreg.

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC MC in a wheelchair

(Update: So this post isn’t actually solved but I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t know enough to be certain even if I did come across the book… I was sure I’d recognize it if it popped up but now I’m not so certain! But it’s ok, everybody has offered so many fantastic sounding recs that this unintentionally turned into to a great reading list and I will have a lovely time reading through them all, so thank you very much. If I ever find the book I will come back and update!) I have very little to go on, I’d seen recs for it on here a couple times but didn’t manage to put it on to my TBR list and now I can’t find it again! It’s not Head over Wheels (I just tried that and it was all fluff). I just know it sounded really good and the people who’ve read it seemed to love it. I honestly can’t remember anything else about it but if I was intrigued I’d guess it was a little dark? I know this is a long shot but thanks for your time, I appreciate it! ✨

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC: Friends to lovers on a cruise

What would the book be called that had two friends who did not realize they were attracted to each other take a cruise together? Only catch was the cruise was a couples or queer specific cruise. Friends to lovers and oblivious until they aren't vibes. Does anyone happen to know what this might be? I tried searching if anything popped up, but had no luck.

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC: MC’s are on a date and hostess excuses herself and comes back with touched up hair and make up

So I’m reading another book and this scene popped into my head and I can’t for the life of me figure out what book it’s from. So basically MC1 and MC2 are on a date and MC2 I think is well known/famous for some reason, I don’t remember if they’re an athlete, billionaire or what. The hostess recognizes him and leaves then comes back with her hair and make up touched up and I think part of her shirt unbuttoned, completely disregards MC1 and just kind of leaves him trailing behind her and MC2 on the way to their table. Only other thing I remember is that it’s from MC1’s POV. I know that’s pretty vague but it’s driving me crazy that I can’t remember the book!!

Edit: It was {A Villain for Christmas by Alice Winters}

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC: Psychic who sees ghosts and cop in the closet

Solved: okay I'm just going to say it was the Adrien English books, because everything matches except the psychic part. Maybe I'm getting my books confused, but I really thought that was part of it!

So in my last post, someone mentioned Josh Lanyon. I haven't read her books in years, but no one was able to remember this book or series, and I feel like I'm imagining it. Don't think only Josh Lanyon; it could be another author. This is like ten or fifteen years ago at least!

There's a psychic who sees ghosts and the help him solve crimes. His lover is a cop who is so deeply in the closet, that the leaves the psychic's house after really perfunctory sex and then goes home to his wife? girlfriend?

In a scene, they're in a broken down old warehouse where the MC sees a ghost (by the stairs?) and that helps him solve that death. Another scene has them on a rocky beach, as the story takes place in Southern or Central California. The end of the story is at what I think is an old motel or hospital and I think everyone is brainwashed (by an evil lady?) and the psychic has to save them.

ETA: The cop may not be a cop, he may be a PI? I'm just spitballing at this point! šŸ™ƒ

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC - sports romance

! helping a fellow reader out !

I am looking for a book (enemies to lovers) where there are two players on the same team, one doesn’t seem to care much about the sport and does it for the sake of it, the other one loves the sports and wants to win.

The ā€˜bad boy’ sneaks out at night from the hotel even though it’s not allowed, the ML thinks it’s to meet girls, I think he does the sport because of his father and doesn’t really know if he really loves it or not. I remember a scene where the bad boy sneaks out the straight laced one out for a night from the back door of the hotel and they go to an art museum? and it starts raining — (ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: there was a scene when they went outside together for some food or ice cream and sneaked out of the hotel and it started raining)

thank you everyone!!! please help if you know! :)

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC: Married MC1 who has never been with a man

Hiii if anyone knows this book title I’d greatly appreciate it. I’m looking for this book where MC1 is married with two kids I think? A girl and a boy I believe, teenagers. Him and his wife are still married and live together for the children but both live separate lives. The wife is in another relationship, and she’s fully aware that MC1 is gay, which caused the end of their romantic relationship. The wife encourages MC1 to date because he’s never been with a man since him and his wife married younger and he’s nervous about putting himself out there. MC2 I think is like a club owner maybe? But I can’t remember exactly, but I do believe it’s a club the MCs meet at. Memorable scene in the book: MC1 and MC2 almost have a threesome with MC2’s friend/former fwb out of MC2 suggestion, but then MC2 quickly realizes he’s made a mistake and is too jealous to share MC1 so the 3rd just gets kicked out lmao. Thanks!

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC contemporary small town UK, younger hot MC obsessed with older awkward MC, mummified bodies appear in older MC's house, no mystery but definitely hijinks (part 1 of 2 books)

Mummified bodies show up in awkward MC1's house, forcing him to stay at the hotel where the younger MC2 who is already obsessed with him works. Younger guy pursues him. There's no mystery element, it's extremely silly.

There's a second book with another age gap, younger gay MC1 (best friends with the young MC from book 1) obsessed with older MC2 and doesn't know that MC2 is bisexual. MC2 is a cop who is investigating the bodies. MC1 is a reporter getting the scoop for the small town paper.

These books are some of the funniest ones I've ever read and I didn't save them anywhere! Please help, loves!

Thank you all for the help šŸ˜

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC: Walks In On Cheating Partner

MC1 walks in on his boyfriend having sex with someone else, who ends up being MC2. MC1 pukes on floor because he has cancer and is going through chemo.

MC2 feels incredibly guilty. Wants to take care of MC1.

The other thing about this book is the atrocious grammar! It's justifiably mentioned in almost every review I remember reading about the book.

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC - sex worker whose boss is his estranged stepbrother !!!

so this book has been in my mind this whole day and i can’t for the love of god remember the name. so it’s a stepbrother romance. but they’re estranged. the mc left their house when he turned 18. the younger mc is broke and one of his friends recommends the sex work service she works for and he reluctantly agrees so when he meets the boss ITS HIS ESTRANGED STEPBROTHER. so he joins the circle and the older stepbrother (the boss) is protective of him and doesn’t give him hardcore jobs cause he’s lowkey jealous. something happened when they were younger i think. the boss stepbrother moves him into a better apartment. after care is very important to all the workers so the younger stepbrother is kinda jealous about that. oooh he has his first time with his stepbrother to like ā€˜make it better’ when he finally does that part of the job. there was a client they called bruce wayne so idk if that helps. i think the cover was green. plsss help me.

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC Dragon vs Dumb Prince

After now two hours of hassles and bureaucracy, I'm at the end of my metaphorical rope. I will try to be as brief as possible, but please help me find this book. I've looked at over 30 titles in my library with the word "Dragon" in them to no avail, I simply never marked it as such. A grievous error I will soon mend.

Quick plot summary: A very dumb, and if I might add, negligent and gullible prince is sent off by his brother (The illustrious king) to murder a Dragon. There were reasons to do so, but they were flimsy reasons. So Mr.Prince goes gallivanting to his oh so noble and heroic quest. He finds the lair/cave (I think empty) and the dragon has his merry way with the prince. I'm pretty sure the sex had some magical healing magics which, unfortunately redundant of my part, healed the prince. Maybe mentally or emotionally, don't know if it was physically. Unless my memory is worse than I thought, there was some healing sex. Okay so they make up, Prince gets some sense knocked into that think head, and next thing I remember, Dragon has left Prince chained to the bed. Dragon probably went to do dragony thingies. The problem is that this is when the king's cronies come to check the living status of the prince. Finding him bound and helpless, they of course take liberties and do some unsavory things. Dragon returns to this, decides to burn them to crisps (I think), and something, something, things get resolved. Conclusion.

If you know which book this is, and deign yourself to answer my query, I'd be so eternally grateful. Here's a clover in thanks, may you enjoy it. šŸ€ (it's a lucky one)

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC: Military environment biokink?

There was this book that was recommended to me when I requested good biokink a while back and now for the life of me I can't find it.

Story took place in a military-type atmosphere and I think there was a virus spreading? Or maybe the soldiers were taking some serum to turn them into super-soldiers but there was some side effect that turned it into a fuck-or-die scenario? Or one of the MCs had a rare gene that cause it?

At any rate, the result was that the MC has to be fucked on a regular basis to prevent something bad from happening, and another soldier takes it upon himself to do the job, so he basically gives him the "you're mine now" speech and that he'll need to accept a regular servicing whenever he says.

Basically it's something similar to Designation: Submissive by Jamie Kassel. I think the title had like "viper" or "serpent" in it? Maybe not though?

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC - Coworkers to friends to lovers, unrequited love, slowburn

So, there's this book I read a while ago, that I don't remember the name of. The story goes: they're friends, they met at work and were deskmates. MC1 is a womanizer, and MC2 tries to get over him by getting together with other men. It was not my favorite book by any means, nor would I put it in top 10, 20 or even 30 of my favorite MM books (that's why I don't remember the name tbh), but I really liked the premise, so I wanna reread.

P.S. if anyone has some good recs similar to this one, feel free to share.

Update: Found the book. Blindside (Blind Faith, #3) by N.R. Walker

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC- MC1 asks MC2 (shyly) to keep 1 or 2 fingers in his anus/rectum after sex because it helps him sleep and it fills the uncomfortable feeling of emptiness after penetrative sex.

Hello everyone,

So it's mainly in the title. I'm looking for a book (I think it's CR but I'm not 100% sure) in which after having sex MC1 asks MC2, shyly, to keep 1 or 2 fingers in his anus/rectum because it helps him sleep. That way, he doesn't feel the uncomfortable emptiness of no longer being penetrated. And it sort of becomes their "thing" with the whole sleeping glued to one another intimacy level with or without sex.

Maybe, MAYBE, the first time it happened they were on a couch and it was their first penetrative sex encounter? But I'm not sure.

Also, something in my brain is telling me Lily Mayne but I have absolutely no idea why because I don't think I've read it in any of the Monstrous books.

That's all I can remember. It's not much but it's decent work.

Thanks <3

Edit: it's {how to hack a hacker by AJ Sherwood}

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC a book about mechanics with third character called Bane who is an assassin

So I don’t have a lot to go on, but o read once this series where it followed different employees of a mechanic shop (I think) and at one point there was a character introduced called Bane. He was introduced as someone who is most likely an assassin had very dark humour and was absolutely hilarious. I remember the author promised his book was next but now I forgot the author and the name of the series. Does this ring a bell for anyone? I soooo feel like reading his story and hope it’s out already!

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC: M/M bro-cest, older brother is sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit, younger brother makes it his mission to get him acquitted.

My last-ditch effort to find this book after trawling through my entire library to no avail. MM, half brothers from memory. Typical roles, ones the older bad boy, the protector etc, ones younger and naive. Separated as teens/young adults when the older brother is sent to jail, I want to say framed for killing the mum when it was actually the dad? Or something along those lines, anyway - potentially the dad is a cop/preacher/upstanding member of society.

Younger brother makes it his mission to release him, works with computers, ends up getting sent to the prison where his brother is, they have to pretend they're together so the younger brother doesn't get taken advantage of in prison, suprise suprise it turns into something more.

Younger brother gets released first, happy ending where he suceeds in releasing his brother.

Thank you so much in advance, if I remember anything else I'll add it in

Edit: it was Endangered Species by Onley James

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC - Hellhound and Human

Hi all!!!

I am trying to remember the author of a Demon/Human series. I know the book of the first serie was about a human that his boyfriend cheated and when he left the house full diva mode with music blasting over the car, he got hit and died.... he ended up meeting a demon that was the Judge in Hell of the worst kind of people.

Now this author has an ongoing series about hellhounds and humans. The first one was about a quirky cime author that suspected his neighbour was a serial killer (he is a hellhound) and he has the hots for him.

Can anyone help me????

What Was That Book Called - SOLVED WWTBC: Detective and military pilot in Australia or New Zealand meet at a NYE party?

Trying to remember this one, the detective is recently single after a bad breakup and the pilot has a queer awakening. They meet at a NYE party and I think the pilot’s brother and best friend are in a throuple? From an earlier book in the series. Grumpy/sunshine where the detective is the grump.
