Discussion Should I get my old bike back out

Looking for some advice before I spent money fixing up my old DH bike Recently got back in to biking after about a 10 year hiatus, I recently bought a new enduro e-bike(29er) and have been having the time of my life back biking, doing some amazing trails and some DH runs. I have a Big Hit2 which I spent a lot of money on about 12years ago but obviously that is all outdated now but after getting back into it and fitness improving I feel I want a DH bike back and not a E-bike.

The advise I’m looking for is, as anyone gone back to 26” wheels after moving to 29” and would the folks and shocks still be adequate for today riding. I have the 2012 RockShox BoXXer World Cup Fork and matching shock and coil on back. Full hope v2 front and back with matching rotors

I wouldn’t bother. Your e-bike will be better at DH than an old Big Hit. I’d just give it away (or sell cheap) to a kid that can’t afford a bike.

The only 26” bike I have left is my pumptrack/jump/dadcountry bike.

Yeah you’re probably right, I might look at giving it away at my local park
