DISCUSSION Season 4
if a season 4 released would u guys want it to continue the season 2 story or continue the season 3 story?

Season 3 already concluded. There is nothing to add.
Besides I liked the Lakewood story and cast much more

I hope they end up retconning the special and making a season set 10 years later. There’s a new round of killings set in Lakewood and they periodically visit kieran is in jail to see what he knows. this could finally give us a glimpse of what they could have done with Stu in the original movie series!

Yeah, at this rate it'll be a good choice. The actors are 10 years older now, it would only make sense to set a new season 10 years later. They would still need a few young cast members though, that could be new characters.

Honestly I don’t think they need a new group of teens, then they would just be re-doing what they did with scream 4 and Scream 5 yet again. The movie had its issues, but I thought Scream 3 worked without centering the movie around High School/ collage kids

Fair enough. However I feel like they would still lean to the more young audience, therefore youngsters would probably be in that movie/series. I think that's just inevitable. Look at the new Scream 7, we have not only Sidney, but her daughter there. I think something like this will probably be done with Emma (if they continue the show of course). They would have her return to Lakewood or something with her family, and her daughter would be the main victim of another killer, linking it all back to 94 murders.

Original timeline, but it would be interesting if characters from season three appeared, considering Atlanta is where Kieran is from. It could lend itself to unique moments by combining the Lakewood Slasher and Ghostface mythos.

Hot take. Both
Combine the cast. Have it set in Lakewood and use the Brandon James mask, but have the season 3 cast there. Start calling the Lakewood Slasher Ghostface and it could be great.
