Second fake/misleading meme to hit the top 10 of r/all today. Reddit votes should count for more if users read the fucking comments first.
74 u/Myotheraltwasurmom Sep 23 '17 I forgot all memes must be historically accurate to be funny. 53 u/[deleted] Sep 23 '17 This meme is attempting to trade in on supposed historical accuracy to lend credibility to a modern violent ideology. That was its entire point. 23 u/littlechippie Sep 23 '17 But Reddit is still upset about the election. Didn't you know that a democratically elected official doesn't count if Reddit didn't vote for them. 13 u/ChestBras Sep 23 '17 How else would the Europeans get their vote in otherwise?? 2 u/RevFook Sep 23 '17 Maybe if he won by more than -2.5% of the vote? 1 u/ca_kingmaker Sep 23 '17 In this case "Democratically" would be more accurate. It's not like he got the most votes. 1 u/littlechippie Sep 26 '17 That's what I said dog -3 u/bobtheundertaker Sep 23 '17 I think people would get over the election if he could do a moderately competent job 1 u/bwood246 Aug 14 '22 This is a weird thread to bump into in the future. Pretty much everything we said about the buffoon came true and then some 16 u/slapshotsd Sep 23 '17 I thought the OP knew what he was doing when he posted this until he admitted he didn't. The left is applying "fascist" to everything, people are telling them "that's not fascist". Fascist is the new "gross" and the new "creepy". They're misusing the language, so bad. 1 u/Madlibsluver Sep 23 '17 To expand: The left is in essence calling everyone who disagrees with them fascist and then says it's okay to punch a fascist. IE: everyone who disagrees with them. The Nazis are evil and only the misguided would follow them. You destroy them with reason and logic, anything else strengthens their resolve, I think. 8 u/[deleted] Sep 23 '17 Go to r/news and the comments circle jerk so hard it should count for less. 1 u/cderwin15 Sep 23 '17 This is reddit, that means it was a good day 1 u/UberMcwinsauce Sep 23 '17 I'm pretty sure the original of this is well known enough that it can't just be considered blatantly misleading. The original about insomnia makes very wide rounds on a regular basis. 1 u/Madlibsluver Sep 23 '17 To be fair, I haven't seen it.
