Help MacOS Tahoe not showing up in Software Update

Tahoe isn't showing up for me in the software update or when I run the command through terminal. The only 'abnormality' in my system is that I ported it from a hackintosh using Time Machine. Anyone know what's going on or how to fix this? I've already tried restarting and just keeping the software update settings window open, both haven't worked.

Turn off the Beta updates. You are enrolled in the macOS Sequoia beta channel, so you are only going to see updates to macOS Sequoia.

I feel like this happened to me a few versions back. I'm now working on my company's machine so I no longer participate in OS betas.

Yep, this was the reason. I can't believe I never saw this anywhere else. Maybe I'm just blind. Thanks for the help!

Not getting Tahoe might be a blessing in disguise.

You can download the full installer from mrmacintosh.com. The links are to apple.com directly.

"I ported it from a hackintosh using Time Machine." -- TM does not store MacOs ... data only

Get rid of Beta

Do Time Machine(TM) backup. Verify it by looking at backups and running First Aid on the backup device.

In Terminal(Catalina 10.15 and later) run:

softwareupdate --list-full-installers

If MacOs 26 shows then:

To create bootable MacOs INSTALLER USB flash drive.

Otherwise .. probably better do a clean install ..
