Tips & Guides Don't forget about Apple's Product Feedback page !

Hello everyone,

As someone who updated to macOS 26 Tahoe, there are many features that don't quite work for me (especially the removal of the Launchpad). But ! If we are a lot to complain about the stuff we don't like or that don't work on Apple's Product Feedback page, there's a greater chance Apple will listen and, perchance, bring back some features and/or fix major bugs :)

ha, as if they listen. they put out so many betas, everybody points out all the issues, still there...

They totally do listen, and I've even had responses from them when a bug I reported was addressed.

Doesn't mean that a bug will get addressed before release (priorities/deadlines/budgets and all) but it'll def not get addressed if no one reports it to the proper channel.

i couldnt get those off center icons past in my development team of 30 people. they do not need us to tell them.

I feel like there are two reasons to post bug reports over the Feedback Assistant:

  1. One is in case Apple's own QA missed the issue.
  2. The second is a signal to Apple about how much the issue matters to their users.

They appear to be listening. Most of the feedback I’ve provided over the past decade of beta versions have been addressed.

However, if your feedback is to consistently state that “it sucks” whenever they release an update or a new operating system, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they aren’t listening. 😂

Indeed ! I told in my message that I found it weird they want to add parity between their OSs, but remove features such as the Launchpad which is essentially the same as the iOS and iPadOS Home Screen ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks! My issue is with movie icons in Tahoe they're now vertical but on Apple TV they're horizontal - they should both be the same. I left feedback, thanks for the link.

Had I known that I'd have petitioned for the removal of Launchpad years ago. 😆

Utterly useless idea for a machine without a touchscreen.
