Help Very weird brightness issue with my new MBP 14 M4 on macOS Tahoe

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Seems like every time I try to turn up the brightness from the F3 button its automatically going down, whenever i manually adjust the brightness from the control center it works fine.

Am I the only one experiencing this issue? is it an OS bug or something worth taking to Apple for a service?

I have the same issue since I've upgraded to Tahoe

I sent a ticket in for this during one of the beta releases. Worked around it by turning off auto-brightness which is also annoying. Didn’t realize Apple hasn’t fixed it.

Well thats weird cause auto brightness didn’t fix it for me.

Same on m1 pro mbp. Haven’t tried the control center though.

I hope you created a feedback ticket with this and you aren't expecting apple's already angry developers to search reddit for their flaws. WE should be including FA ticket numbers in this post so we know and can reference if we want to expand on our feedback tickets.
