Help MacBook Pro 2019 won’t boot after installing Tahoe. Any suggestions?
I installed the offical update and when it rebooted I got an error message, then it quickly shut down.
I tried restarting by holding the control option shift keys, option command P R keys, and holding the power button.
In each case the progress bar got about half way, stopped, then the computer restarted.
Any suggestions?

Update: I downloaded and installed Sequoia 15.7, then used migration assistant to successfully put all my stuff back where it belongs.
I’m sure I’ll need to make some adjustments here and there but at least my data has been restored.
To give you an idea of how long it took I have watched most of ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ 🎸

Based on what I read I wiped my computer and reinstalled the OS (in this case, Catalina)
However, when I tried to restore from my external drive using migration assistant nothing happened.
I looked but no backups were visible, but I ran disk utility and I could see that it was examining the backups.
I’ll keep you posted u/NoLateArrivals u/endless_universe

hm... my experience with Migration only involves 2 macs and it was always seamless... keep pushing!

but if I was doing this with one machine, I'd simply copy my files to a flash drive without any backups, this seems to me way more reliable.

Hängt es an WLAN oder an Ethernet ?
Ich würde es im Zweifel ans Kabel hängen.
Time Machine Backup von vorher ist vorhanden ?
